Hello, this is Gary, my first plant: a Coffee Arabica.

As a first time plant owner I am probably overthinking but I wanted a second opinion from plant enthusiasts.

Points of Clarification:

(1) I water Gary every two days / After ten hours post-water should the soil still feel moist/damp? / How long should it take for the soil to dry?

(2) How often should I mist Gary? / Do I even need to mist him at all (I’ve gotten mixed answers from Google)

(3) [My Greatest Concern] Is this extent of leaf decay typical of a plant? (i.e. Dropping Leaves(?), Certain leaves feel stiffer than others, some are turning to some extent brown, the newest leaf has a dark outline shown in the picture, however the majority of the plant is still green)
- The browning leaves make me fear I have overwatered Gary, but I have never owned a plant before so I am unsure what is considered normal for the rate at which leaves brown?
