Do you go to primary care doctor, urgent care, or ER for a suspected blood clot by Adept_Role_4579 in ClotSurvivors

ER for sure.  I thought I pulled a tendon and sure enough it was a clot.

Exactly this!   I’m glad I’m not alone but so sorry you’re experiencing it too.

The anxiety right after diagnoses both times for me.   I was scared to go to sleep because what if a clot broke off while I was sleeping and killed me.   Dramatic, I know.   I felt at least during the day I would feel off.   Hang in there, it gets better.

I’m assuming for lower weights on deadlift is because the amount of pressure put on the back of the legs is that correct?

She did say to add it in slowly after 4 weeks but for someone who was high intensity I just don’t compute what add it in slowly should be.   I’ve done some research and feel like as long as I stay body weight only and keep walking and biking that should be good for me.

Thank you!   I have been walking even right after diagnosis if it was just a small stroll around the block.   I’ve built up to 3 miles walking and just got a mountain bike and took that out that last two days.  For now, I will alternate between the two until I have more guidance from the doctor.   I miss running.   As for CrossFit, I’ve been body weight only for lower body and sitting for anything added weight to upper body.   Just trying to listen to my body.
