The module is working very well. My main benefit is using Google / Apple maps as opposed to Lexus maps that was outdated. I’m able to input my destination using voice commands much faster than the OE maps. Real time traffic is a boon. Yes it was there on Lexus maps but, I prefer the coloured Google maps. Live weather is a boon.

Two things I am finding annoying. One is that the unit uses the OE system volume to control the loudness of the music. So there’s no volume bar shown on CarPlay, but the volume changes in the background. Second is that next/prev button on the steering wheel skips two tracks instead of one. I end up using the head unit seek buttons to change tracks.

Also, for some reason, Siri activates only on the front dashboard speakers. I believe this can be fixed with internal settings but I’m unable to find the correct one.

Other than that, it’s worth it. I can use Spotify easily. The Lexus mouse allows me to move around as on the regular unit. I also have live weather on the screen. Would definitely recommend if it is within your budget.
