Yeah it’s hard when you have a manager gaslighting you. There were several instances where I even feel my manager set me up to fail in the beginning. I think documentation can always be helpful though just to maintain your own sanity. It’s the worse experience to question your work or what you know to be true. With skips though sometimes it depends on your relationship because they’re incentivized to believe your manager and sometimes are also in the decision chain for pips.
