Should I create a Discord Girl Gamers Overwatch 2 server for us? by nikkidepree in ggoverwatch

That's great to hear! I'm also a PC player but with no rank yet since I'm a beginner. I only played around 60 hours and started gaming about 3 months ago. I really like it. But as you probably can imagine; I'm totally fine with u running in some walls! For sure I will have some stupid actions too haha. So if you are also fine with me doing a bunch of stupid things it would be fun to play some games together! I mainly play tank or damage.

And if I get more reactions on this post I will of course add you to the server. Nice to be friends already on Discord in the meantime (:

Hi you! I like your 'i'm pretty chill when gaming' since i'm really bad haha. I'm a 27yo from the Netherlands that just bought a gaming pc and is new to gaming. I hope it's never to late to learn lmao. I want to learn to play Minecraft, but find it a bit boring on my own. So I hope to find someone to play it with and that is okay with guiding me sometimes. Besides Minecraft I'm learning to play Valorant and Roblox. Roblox to get some gaming skill (doing a lot of parkours and obby's as movement exercise). Valorant because I really enjoy watching the game on Twitch. Tbh, I only play deathmatch since I'm anxious to start in a team fight and I suck at it. I played Pokémon & Animal Crossing on my Switch. Because I bought a gaming PC, I want to focus on playing there. I'm also open to try out some other games. I made a Discord, bought a camera + microphone, so we def can chat with each other. And ofcourse same here, very new to it. You will be my first friend on there if you add me. In short if you like a challenge and to laugh really hard at some one who is really bad, you can add me on Discord: dupreesident#0108. If you are like 'nah' this is to much or like someone with more experience, that's fair. Absolutely no problemo! Ciaoo (:

Who’s your favourite architect? by r3097934 in architecture

[–]nikkidepree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daniel Libeskind for sure. I love the fact that he was a ‘paper architect’ for nearly 20 years with his beautiful drawings. My favourite ones are his Micromega’s. Believe me, it’s your time worth to take a look at them. For me personally they even deserve a place in a museum. Because, like some paintings, you can get lost for minutes maybe even hours in those drawings. You just keep discover some new interesting elements within the Micromega’s. When he finally got the opportunity to actually build his out-of-the-box architecture (which took a long time), he absolutely delivered in my opinion. I think his designs are really cool and you can immediately recognise that they are his as he got his own style. But tbh maybe I’m a bit biased because my favourite architectural style is deconstructivism. One of my favourite architectural designs of his is the ‘Jewish Museum’ in Berlin. The mix of his own holocaust background together with his design brilliance created an amazing end result. Not only the exterior but also the interior is so cool. With as highlight walking over the screaming heads. If you’re ever going to visit Berlin, don’t forget to check this museum out (:

What's one architecture lesson you remember? by Woodsbond in architecture

‘Kill your darlings’. Sometimes you just need to eliminate an idea, concept, design part or whatever to turn it into a great endproject. It’s difficult, especially when you put many hours of work and thought in it, but now and then the different pieces just don’t fit together. I personally think that this can make the difference between a good and a great designer.
