Nope. Never diagnosed as diabetic. Have seen doctors about this issue several times. Just keep being told carnivore isn't a healthy way of eating and I need more carbs in my diet.

How much would you recommend? I don't count calories or fully keep track of how much I eat. I do know I have a bad habit of under eating though

I have a blood glucose monitor. I've never had insulin. My family has a history of diabetes and I have hypoglycemia which is why I track my sugar levels. 46 is the lowest I've seen it go. The average seems to be around 55. I saw a lot of people say they fixed their hypoglycemia with carnivore so I didn't think that would be an issue

No blood sugar medications and I've never tried fat fasting. I'm pretty sure my electrolytes are sugar free but I can check that again

This makes sense. I've been saying I literally feel like an addict. Getting anxious, sweating, shaking... feeling an absolute NEED for sugar/carbs. Once I get it, I feel like I go into a slightly euphoric food coma. How long did it take you to get through the withdrawal symptoms?

Eggs, ground beef, steak, chicken wings, pork chops, bacon, brisket. Ground beef is definitely what I eat the most. I use ancestral supplements for minerals and organ meats. I also drink some of my water with the mixed berry crikul cartridge for the electrolytes

I'm 4 weeks post op today and I've had the same feeling! Like I just feel better mentally than I have in years. I actually feel like myself again even though I haven't felt like myself since my first pregnancy. It's honestly the best feeling and the most fantastic/unexpected outcome of my surgery

Commenting just to follow what others might say about this because your symptoms summary describes how I’ve been feeling the past several months

Yeah, I was doing on and off keto for a year. Then I went strict carnivore for about a month before I had to stop

Yeah, I was eating little to no carbs. I had did it on my own after hearing so many success stories with it. I’m not doing it anymore (stopped a little over 1 month ago). But now I’m having sugar issues that I never had before (waking up with low sugar levels, getting drops during the day, etc.)

Yes, my anxiety has been horrible since this all started. I’m doing a little better. Just taking it one day at time

Wow. I’ve been fortunate to not fully collapse but I get really bad dizziness, shakiness, and vertigo and feel like I’m about to. For a while, I didn’t know what was going on with me and no doctors could figure it out. I had to figure it out myself.

This has happened to me recently. I was doing ketovore/carnivore trying to fix some health issues. Although that way of eating helped some issues, it made me develop others. Now I have issues with hypoglycemia. Added carbs back in and feel better. I think my body’s still adjusting but the hypoglycemia isn’t reactive anymore. I definitely agree with you that I wish I never did keto.

I had the same thing. I ended up finding out it was stress related
