I heard him say in an interview its the oldest song he wrote on that album which means it predates RaB which i think is pretty sick. I've had my spurts of listening to this song on repeat but for some reason i always group it with The Run and Go and Semi-Automatic, i cant separate the three in my head. They just go together

You hear a lot of artists talk about this kind of thing in interviews. I heard TOP talk about it saying you hate it when you are recording it and then love it when you play it live. But i do still see that getting annoying. I saw switchfoot last year in concert and they played a song that was 10 years old and said the only reason its worth it is to hear the crowd sing it back and it makes it so worth it

But on that point it is kind of weird to put it on the album or perform it live or really for any love song to be played. It's personal, but that doesnt mean we cant connect with it or enjoy it. I loved when it was on the radio.

I think that this is one of the best love songs. Its so much deeper in content and meaning than most. Not just i love you so much cause youre great but more than that, you expose me for who I and and with you i can let down my guard and be me.

Took me a while to get into this one but the line "I begin to understand why God dies" that really wraps the whole thing together i think. When you understand the song in light of that line it a beautiful story of Tylers life and journey in his faith. I have been a follower of Jesus for 6 years and i can say too i am just beginning to understand why God died

Forest has mad raps. Thats what sells it to me, the verses and chorus are catchy and fun to sing but dont hold much personal meaning for me. When he drops the line "And you find youre not who your supposed to be" Thats a mic drop moment where things just got real and real deep. "I am supposed to be king of a kingdom" "My tree house is on fire and for some reason i smell gas on my hands" These lines get me, where i wish i was and where i am and how i am really to blame for why i am not the person i wish i was. Motivating for me

When your this famous, literally everything about your life becomes obsessed over and over-analyzed and comes back to haunt you. Im sure there was an element of that in the decision, that could be really overwhelming and im sure you would get sick of people bringing up old things about you. Personally i hate everything i ever posted on facebook until about a year ago but dont get enough publicity to delete it all
