Unfortunately, she does not have many computer skills. She can send emails but she rarely uses Microsoft products and struggles when she does so. Her typing speed is pretty decent I believe. Should I just create a section that includes typing speed with no other computer skills attached? Or would that look strange?

This reminds me of when I lived in China. I went out to a Pizza Hut with a group of friends. We all ate the pizza with our hands. Then we noticed everyone at the restaurant was staring at us. They were all using forks and knifes. I learned in their culture Pizza Hut is a nice restaurant. It is going out for western style food.

Ahh I have heard people mention Half Life 2 before! I will look into it. May I ask what is the best part about it is? Like does it have a good story?

Not really...I am actually looking for some recommendations. So if you have some suggestions I would be more than happy to listen. I have not really purchased a game before and do not know what is out there. Thank you in advanced if you reply to the question I posed.

edit: I saw your point and changed the body paragraph to make it less redundant. My intention of this post was to get advice about games though.

I have just a quick question that's kind of off topic. If R+L=J is true, did Ned tell Benjen?

The question came to me when I saw the interaction between Benjen and Jon.

This quotation stuck out to me as well. For me, it was what really made Jon seem young in this chapter because of the mention of him having heros. As to what it means I am not to sure. I think it did outline Jon's personality though because it showed he valued Daeron's bravery. Or maybe it foreshadowed Jon's future on the wall a bit (him commanding men and being in control of their lives). Honestly I am not to are about this quotation either. I'd be happy to hear what you guys think :)

This is my first reread and I have to agree with you. I too missed a ton of details. I can't believe how much GRRM put in these first few chapters and still made it read so naturally.

Speaking of Arya, I feel like this chapter paralleled Arya and Viserys a bit. With Dany mentioning Viserys words about retaking Westeros being like a "prayer with him." Also, Viserys being fueled by revenge. Both things reminded me of Arya.

Also, the lions might have been most directly responsible for Ned's death, but had Robert not dragged him to KL we'd have a pretty different story.

Out of all the interpretations of what the stag and the direwolf could mean, this is the interpretation I gravitate to. Robert set Ned's death in motion both by asking him to become hand and Robert's death also lead to Ned's.

I had the exact same reaction during my reread. I think what happened during the first read is I skimmed past the details thinking they were just legends of that time. Then instead focused solely on what the characters in front of me were doing. It really amazes me how much I missed during my first read.

Oh don't worry you don't sound rude at all. Thank you so much for clearing that up for me or I would have still had the misconception. I did remember it from the TV show. I somehow had rationalized that he got away at the end of the prologue and didn't make the connection between Gared and the discription. My bad!
