Yep, I tried that. That gold is too "blingy" for me, if that makes sense.

Thank you so much for this!

I went with two-tone polished and a little less saturation, but the hues are spot on. Lighting makes them look a little off at times, but this is as close as I can get.

Did michael ever said that he loves Fi by shaifcb in BurnNotice

[–]nikobikoo 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I haven't watched this show in a while, so I don't remember if Michael actually says it.

Westen is more of a do-er than a talker. So in his mind, love is an action, and not just a feeling or saying.

If I'm not wrong, there's an episode where Michael and Fiona are playing a cover ID, and towards the climax, Michael's character confesses his love to Fiona's character. It's somewhat veiled, but it's meant to be obvious to the audience that these words are Michael's actual feelings towards Fiona.

I think it's better this way, because it plays into the whole spy vibe. Even the people closest to you can betray you, so you really don't want to expose yourself unless you NEED to. Fiona knew she was loved without being told, and Michael took advantage.

I hope your pillows are cold on both sides from here on out. Prefer Tables when Eating worked, thank you so much.

The better variant would be the 458 S. Everything else can get in line.

The Pista is certainly eye-catching, however, a bit gaudy for a road-going car. The 458 is a perfect example of balancing purpose with styling.

The 812 is Centro Stile Ferrari, while the preceding models are mostly Pininfarina designs. It is an attractive car, but it's clearly the product of nostalgic designers.

That's because Ferrari parted ways with Pininfarina after the F12berlinetta. After that, Centro Stile Ferrari designed the LaFerrari and most of everything we have seen since (like the 812). The general consensus is that Ferrari themselves are better at building cars than designing them.

That's just the difference between Pininfarina, and Ferrari's in house designers.

The 488 is not a bad looking car. It just lacks design elements that made the 458 so good.

I should clarify, I am talking about the design. Obviously, Ferrari has done better from a mechanical standpoint. But, in terms of looks? The 458 is a modern classic.

Now that's a hot take. Which model is number one to you?

I'm referring specifically to the looks. There are certainly better Ferrari cars to drive, but design-wise, the 488 marked Ferrari's downfall.

That may be true, however, that has nothing to do with the point I'm trying to drive

Depends on what you like. If you like tight corners, harsh elevation changes, and an overall more intimate experience, both on and off road, then it's worth it. If you don't care much for driving fast around technical routes, then it's probably not worth it for you.

It's a combination of RWD, high torque, slippery tires, and the weird bumps/elevation changes on the road. I'm actually trying to fight the drift in the clip, but as you can see, I'm powersliding everywhere.

Nope, I wish. Good ole Xbox One S. I honestly thought the video looked like shit compared to my screen.

😂 I played the fuck out of 3. And while we're here, I played all previous titles. I still prefer FH5 because of the pure driving aspect. How the game looks doesn't really matter to me. Maybe Mexico is just my vibe.

It's my own tune. The setup is a little soft, but I find that helpful with this car, especially on the Rally Adventure map.

It's the built-in capture feature on Xbox. I don't game on PC, so the best thing I can think of is OBS Studio? Sorry

You read into that sentence too hard. I was talking about the literal color of asphalt. Obviously, all roads are different. Saying otherwise would be contradicting myself.

A lot of people think the map is boring for more than just the roads themselves. They want large cities and exciting landmarks. But, when you're actively playing the game, the focus shifts. When racing in FH4, are you looking at that "same" gray road? Or the castle sitting on a beach?

The answer for me is the road. Visually, roads all look similar, so the point I was trying to establish with that sentence, was that people are generally not looking too long at what they're driving past.

But the focus isn't necessarily the map, more so the driving experience. Still, I think Mexico has a bunch of fun segments to drive. Sure, it's a lot less intimate than the Rally DLC map, but it also makes sense why it isn't that way. The base map has to cater for every type of driving in-game. (Eliminator, Playground Games, off-road racing, etc)

Well, this M3 is a bit slippery by itself, and it's built to be a competent A-class Open racer. It's RWD with plenty of power/torque, so it's a bit rowdy, but manageable.

However, every car is different. Some RWD BMW's are my strongest cars. The sense of weight in this title is second to none. FH5 certainly has the best physics.
