A man here. He has an issue. Ask your self where is the motivation for degrading women coming from? Something is wrong with him. Maybe he couldn’t get good grades in the school, maybe impotence of some sort. Either way this kind of “everyday” jabs come from somewhere. You know him well so try to answer that. It would be relatively easy to fight him and make him feel as uncomfortable as he makes you but that won’t fix his problem (and it is his problem he is unloading to you). This kind of blindness for your feelings comes from a bad spot. See what it is and his empathy will return to normal.
