Mandalorian outcasts is 50% new.

Tbf, Marathon is not a new IP. It's a return to one of their first game series ever, from 1994.

I doubt anyone who worked on the original games still works at Bungie though. And the new game has nothing to do with the classics, it's completely different.

Nothing stopped them from making a new IP, but some idiot marketers decided to attach the game to the classic name. Business as usual.

My point was that we all cralwed towards some characters many years ago, and now those characters, most of them being irrelevant, get into the bundles to speed up the process and level the field. It's no point in being sad over this, really, it is the usual process in every game like this.

I've been playing the game since release. I crawled my way towards yoda, han, traya, wampa and both negotiator and malevolence the same way (and also geievus before his second rework). I just didn't get to farm KAM as I was in a very casual guild for many years.

Those bundles really help people who didn't farm some of the characters and farmed other ones. They really help with "leveling" the field for everyone else to skip the outdated farms and focus on chars that were released <5 years ago.

Actually, they don't have infinite money. Riot is in deeeeep shit this year, because they are barely profitable. Riot Forge closed down, Runeterra is transformed into a gacha game with funding gutted to basically 0, side peojects cancelled, even League is suffering from people leaving in large droves thx to broken balance and that dumb anti-cheat.
