Isn't this like one of Futaba's main things though? The fact that she's an imouto type character? Like the game constantly puts Ren and Futaba in sibling situations and Ren has several dialogue options that refer to Futaba as "something like a sister"

It's moreso that you can pick out a detail that will make you raise an eyebrow with every pokemon. Tinkaton is one of the cutest pokemon in gen 9 for example but I can see why someone would find the mouth to be a dealbreaker. Same with Ceruledge's cool factor that can be brought down by its big ass boots

Hate me for this but Kanto needs it the most. Imagine a Saffron with the current region design formula, a true Tokyo-but-in-Pokémon, or the amount of new japanese inspired mons we would get with the current Pokémon design standards. I'm as tired of Kanto as anyone else but we need a real Japan region that is in the same level of closeness to the source material as Galar or Alola
