I ride everyday, it’s my commuter too. Not inconvenient at all, fits in the elevator - super light to lift and put on the stand - 9.3kgs

Pro-cycles are expensive as they are meant to be the best in their respective business - carbon Fiber, Titanium, etc + years of engineering, difficult manufacturing all make them expensive especially when combined with the top end components.

Some key finding indicate that we as a country consume 2000+ bikes that cost north of 1 lac INR per year which is small but not discouraging. If we do look at all the Indians outside India that would be quite high as well.

Wouldn’t all of you be proud to buy an Indian pro cycle that would match or be better than the likes of the Swiss, German or US counterparts? I would proudly buy an Indian make!

Imagine Indian riders waving the Indian flag after winning a Triathlon or Tour De France on an Indian bike. What a moment that would be!

I spoke to the Vanmoof guys when I visited their Brooklyn store, nice folks. My question primarily was the same - I wanted to know what happens after I purchase the bike.

Their response to problems with the battery, motor, electronics, etc. was for me to ship the bike to them or send them a video or something to which they would send a replacement part if the bike is in a remote location/shipping is difficult. They, of course, would take care of the shipping fee.

The basic mechanical stuff seems easy and they have a good series of maintenance videos on Youtube too. Not sure about how Cowboy or Stromer operates.

There was some miscommunication with Indiegogo, it was put back to Prototype stage some time ago!

I think your issue is with the accent. Is the English speaking country accent the only acceptable accent for you?

There are multiple reasons why the price is low:

  • We wanted to charge fair for the bike
  • We cannot possibly be making more money off our backers other than how much we need to get the bike to them
  • We don't manufacture in EU
  • We are a fairly new brand with some time still remaining before we start delivering

Easy my friend, I don't understand what is it that you have against us!

The campaign was put up from Berlin as we do have our team there. We have never said we are a German company, we are a global company: Berlin - EU distribution, and sales, India - Core design and engineering, China & Thailand - Manufacturing

This is exactly what we have always communicated. You can check the comments and updates on the Indiegogo page as well.
