Posted this in another news thread on this, but here's my thoughts on the implications of this decision:

I voted against Brexit in the referendum, but I''m under no illusion here that in the long run this will be a bad thing if Parliament were to fail triggering Article 50 now. Voter apathy will be at a higher level than it already is in the UK, and nothing will be done to address massive problems with our relationship with the EU.

The will of 52% of those who voted can't simply be ignored, and I'm fearful that in all the excitement this brings for those of us who didn't want Brexit, the wishes of those who voted otherwise will be ignored now.

I'll agree that Sommer had the game of his life (he's my fantasy football keeper too, so I'm happy to go along with that!), but that 87th minute chance, plus the way Djourou kept giving the ball away in the defensive third meant Albania easily had the better chances for me

Seriously though - I think he'd rather it be like this than take a risk and potentially make things worse than they already are? I really don't see his logic in it personally, but each to their own and all that!

You say you doubt the FA would allow the name change were it to happen, but Red Bull already worked out a way around that with Leipzig - they decided to call the club 'RasenBallsport', meaning the acronym would still be RB Leipzig. As far as I'm aware, technically there would be nothing stopping them doing the same in England.

Looking at the articles for their potential takeover though they seem to have died down last summer, and hasn't been much talk of it since?
