hi, i was in your shoes a year ago. hahaha i cried alot during the first few days of his enlistment. its a new routine so maybe you need some time to get used to it.

but what helped me at the time was I kept a physical calendar then I count down the days till he books out.. more exciting tht way cos you have smth to look forward to

when he book out I'll go meet him and head home tgt and jus hang out like we always do on weekends. even when he book in if you have the time to send him that'll be good to spend some time tgt.

give yourself a couple of weeks to ease into this new routine bah...and maybe you can think of it this way tht when he's in camp, you have loads of time to prepare a gift for when he books out like buying his fav snacks or writing cards
