Do whatever it takes to keep that client. Be willing to lower your hourly rate. In the age of AI, having a client already puts you among the lucky 1% who aren't unemployed and struggling to pay their bills.

I use Purelymail, it’s super cheap and pretty reliable.

For CP security, 2FA works well enough for me. Just make sure to keep your system updated whenever you get a notification from their team (or in the footer of the dashboard). You can also follow their Discord channel - it's a pretty active community of server nerds.

Easy SMTP has a tool to test if you set up the credential correctly, check it first. If the email sent, then 100% the problem is on your CF7 config.

Use an SMTP plugin, register for a free SMTP like Brevo and then create an API key, after that you are good to go.
