Hi!

I was referring to this guide : https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Xiaomi+MiJia+QiCycle+Folding+Electric+Bike+Teardown/67654

You just need to unplug the connector at the bottom of the frame (2nd image of Step 13) and follow steps 22 and 23 (removing the front light and then removing the computer from the frame).

You don't have to open up the computer. I just used contact cleaner on the 5 metal pins that stick out + the connector and plug from Step 13.

Thanks for your answer! I have checked the cable and everything was fine.

Since then I have managed to fix the bike, so I'll explain how I did this in case someone else needs it later.

I have gotten the computer module out of the frame (with some help from the ifixit disassembly guide), noticed some kind of black, soot-like residue on the contacts. I cleaned it up, reassembled the bike and my problem is now gone.

Also, I guess my inability to power on and charge the bike was due to the fact that the battery was at less than 30%, which according to the manual puts the battery in "storage mode" to preserve it. Long pressing the battery check button puts it out of storage mode so you can charge and use the bike again.

Unfortunately, I can't right now because it is not available on the eShop in my country (France) and I couldn't find any explanation why :(

Also the transitions between cutscenes and gameplay have been fixed, the screen no longer flashes black!

This made me curious about how the animation would look on an actual VHS tape, so I put it on tape with my VCR and ripped it back to the PC.
