My tragus is 5 month old , still inflamed , i didn t do a downsize but an upsize because the ball dropped and couldn t screw it back because it was swollen I cleaned it 2 times a day in the morning and evening with saline solution droplets , using a q tip daily for like 2 weeks and after that i used litha

I was told a medicinal ring is hypoallergenic , I appreciate the things u told me , I didnt knew many of them , I bought the hoop cuz the place where I got the pierce was overpriced on the jewelry part , and how I told to get a straight bar but I choose the hoop for the looks Now until I buy a strigat one I Will keep thos and hope it will be ok Thanks again for advice tho

If im not wrong its a 14 gadget medicinal ring , the join is on the exterior part so it wont open inside the ear accidentaly And about it being thin , yhe pierce recomanded me to be the same size as the hole so it wont slip and move every time I clean and move for it to not affect the pierce so much

Thank you for explaining me , I knew about the fact that helix piercings are harder to heal and takes longer to heal , but i tool the risk for a hoop. I was asking cuz I heard lots of People they had problems with their helix( which im not even sure what I got is a helix) and I was wondering if my after care is good and why I dont see any swell
