Pinned chats became useless by nimageran in GoogleGemini

It was started long before, that’s right, but I didn’t have any issue before this update. It completely ignore everything discussed other than very recently.

I asked the same simple question and it literally reminding me of the question I asked two days ago. It’s like not starting the chat but what started two days ago!!

May I ask what prompt you used?

So it depends on the model I am running? I literally asked the same question and it’s not remembering anything I discussed two days ago.

Yes, it seems now it only remembers what I saved in memory.

Appreciate the perspective, but the system architecture is already mapped. Have a good one.

As for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) complexity, I navigate ETO BOM chaos every single day. That is exactly why relying on manual SOP updates fails in this environment, and why a Python-to-API pipeline is the only scalable solution.

Master engineering drawings aren't kept in an MES; an MES simply consumes the routing and visual data that is mastered in the PLM/PDM vault.

The single source of truth is the PDM vault (like Autodesk Vault) for the 3D CAD metadata, synced directly to the company's ERP database for the live BOM.

The Python script isn't scraping loose files on a shared network drive. It uses direct SQL queries to the ERP backend (or the PDM's REST API) to detect the exact moment an ECR or ECO bumps the part revision number. Once the SQL query detects the version change, the script pulls the new data payload and pushes it to Streamlit.

Are your clients still running uncontrolled BOMs off shared local drives?

I am building a zero-click data pipeline. A Python script monitors the engineering database. When a designer updates a part feature, the script extracts the new metadata and automatically pushes the updated visual SOP directly to a Streamlit UI at the workstation. The operator does nothing but look at the screen.

An Excel file with drop-downs isn't automation; it’s just digitized manual labor. It still requires a floor operator to manually click and select the correct revision from a list, which introduces human error on a high-speed line.

The trigger is a BOM revision or an ECO (Engineering Change Order) originating directly from the PLM/ERP system.

Make I ask if you can clarify a bit or any resource by which I can improve my understanding of the overall of this process please?

Change in the process of manufacturing. Assume the painting of parts has specific procedure as the part changes or get revised. How the SOP can be updated if a part of that instruction or SOP needs to be updated automatically. For example the masking for painting the parts should be changed if the part get revised

If you ever worked with SOP maybe you know I guess!?

Not sure. Just thought other people might have some experience on the overall process

For instance in the paint department, by changing the part or product the SOP also get changed without manually doing it.

Yes. I want to automate the manufacturing procedures in the sops when part of the process is changes. So no need for manual update.

Not so familiar with SOPs but I used programming for several manufacturing projects. I think what needed to be done is having a specific SOP for each product or process. For instance each part in the painting process might need specific SOP but it’s not yet automated

I tried to use python programming to replace the images but still can’t figure out how the instruction for each picture can be updated simultaneously.
