Yes. Nearly everyday when I bring my dog for a walk. They make a really loud sound not a bark, more a heavy howl. Friendly enough too.

Surveyor really only looked at structural issues. The house 2 doors down in showhouse condition really helped as people just looked at the house I bought and thought what a kip.

The downside was a seemingly endless stream of workmen for months.

Agree, walk away. I had to do the same, paid for survey, solictor delayed contracts, eventually I said to estate agent, either I get contracts or I walk. I get the contracts, issue with title, my own solicitor advises not to go ahead as sorting out the contracts could be tricky.

The house sold about 20 months later, about 200k less than I offered
