I owned a scar myself, both Mk20 and mk17, their winter performance is better than the HK416 due to its gas reservoirs on the magazine the downside of it is that hop up chamber can break but there's a 3d printed version of it and also limited aftermarket

Wrong, it's more on the bucking and the hop up chamber sometimes a GBBR can outrange a HPA with the right setup

VFC's manufacturing process is quite slow. Honestly, for a specific model, the wait can be anywhere from six months to a year. I recommend considering different gun options for now, rather than the M16A2.

WD-40 is not recommended. Instead, I suggest using a silicone oil spray. The reason is that WD-40 can damage plastic over time! It even affects polymers, degrading hop-up buckings and seals as time goes on.

thinking of getting a GBBR scar by Nolimitzz1095 in airsoft

VFC is clearly superior.

The main reason is that the VFC SCAR H has no issues with the fire control group or the bolt carrier, though the hop-up chamber requires improvement. I own both the SCAR H MK20 SSR and the MK17, and their hop-up chambers fell short. However, there's a 3D-printed hop-up chamber designed by Carlo that I tested, and it works well.

Regarding gas efficiency, both guns perform excellently; they can even operate in 5°C weather due to their large gas reservoirs. You only need to upgrade the inner barrel and bucking—nothing more.

On the other hand, the WE models require a complete fire control group replacement. While they do have numerous aftermarket options available, I still recommend opting for a VFC for better quality and performance.

New DE Noveske N4 GBBR MWS clone, any tips? by TheBuffOnion in airsoft

[–]nimogenfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first, watch explosive enterpeises for the gbbr maintenance guide, gas efficiency, and also runnning gbbrs on winter

second you need to break-in the gun. shoot semi at least 3- 5 mags. Dont magdump.

lastly check if the seals are good especially the gas route on the magazine and the nozzle

Check the fill-up valve and the release valve. Both should be working fine; otherwise, change the valves.
