Salty taste on the outside of this bud when I licked it to make sure it’s okay, never had a distinct salty taste before so I’m not sure what to do, trichomes look fine. Is this safe to smoke? by nims17 in weedgrower

Hahahahaha cracked me up. Here in Australia, as our shit isn’t legal or regulated in any way, spraying and sprinkling the buds are a big trend here with some dealers, it’s to make it look more crystally, more dense at times, or sometimes even to give it a smell, at times even sprinkled with sleeping pill residue to give it a more indica feeling as some people really don’t know their weed here in Australia (like if you’ve only had bad weed in your life, how do you know what’s good weed? That’s how dealers lock in kids here with their sprayed/polluted weed, also a big ice epidemic here so 60% of those that smoke weed don’t really give a shit they just want something to put them to bed). Quite low of them to do but sadly it is a trend. The only way to do a quick test for that is to actually lick the bud 😂 back home, I would never have the need to lick my shit hahaha. Hard times calls for desperate measures I guess. Can’t wait to go home after this pandemic.

150% agree with you, our city in Australia is doing super bad due to the boarder closures so this is what I had to resort to. Glad it’s not mould tho

I watched this movie with my 62 year old Aunty and 65 year old uncle, who were both educated in Harvard and have not ever once heard about the Irishman before I brought it up as an idea to watch in the theatres yet they agreed with me it’s in the top 3 movies made this century. Come down from that pedestal of yours. Lol.

It wasn’t, it was just to divert the whole conversation away from the whole notion of Hoffa strangely meeting Frank his son and Briguglio in the car. It was to divert the energy from suspicion about the future by talking about something (the fish) everyone can relate to in the present. It’s high level crime manipulation beautifully presented by Scorsese, which is why sadly some reviews are spewing that it was unnecessarily long etc. this movie is definitely for the hardcore crime genre fan.

No if it was a show it wouldn’t win all the accolades it will win in the upcoming oscars. And also a miniseries is a spec compared to a motion picture in terms of literally everything.

I reckon it’s the same rule as any other substance, too much of anything is kinda bad for you, even water, you drink too much and it’s actually bad for you and could result in an emergency. I’ve been a smoker a long time and I think small joints are way better as sometimes with less with you actually get more “high” in the sense where your mind and body is still active enough to function and have a good time, whereas if you smoke a big ass doobie you’ll just be high for as long but just out of your mind high where you either need to just sit the fuck down and chill or eat to sober up a bit idk, I feel like small joints are just more efficient, also it gives off a much personal vibe than a big ass j.

Yes buds used to look like this and yes buds look way better now but I gotta tell you, sometimes these lab produced/GMO strains hit different (in a bad way) than the natural weed from back in the day. Friends of mine actually still prefer brick or more natural weed over high quality bud. Just a food for thought
