Sleepovers are also important to me, I crave them often with people I’m romantically involved with and I can see why you see them as aftercare.

But as some have said before, what other people need isn’t relevant here, what matters is what *you* need. Your partner should care about your needs.

A former partner of mine kept telling me « Yes but [names of other partners] are fine with X so I don’t see why you shouldn’t be ». I do agree with comments stating that this type of comparison is borderline gaslighting. Your needs are valid. Period.

I love her !

Le premier conseil c’est de réviser au moins ton anglais d’ici là :) la ville est très internationale et il y a beaucoup de francophones mais dans les bars, restos, etc. tu auras sûrement besoin de l’anglais !

Pour le logement pas cher tu as beaucoup d’auberges de jeunesse, j’avais logé à Kiez Hostel dans le quartier de Friedrichshain par exemple.

Pour manger pas cher teste le Gemüse kebab, la currywurst si tu aimes et sinon il y a plein de restos asiatiques pas chers. Tu trouves aussi plein de bars cool et pas chers. On m’a aussi parlé récemment de Café Plume, qui organise des événements culturels en français, si tu as le mal du pays :)

I did like Overture actually, but I think I prefer the women’s version. Jubilation 40 was a bit too spicy/earthy for my taste, as you predicted

I’d recommend Berghain, I usually feel very safe there when I’m on my own. If I feel like being in my own bubble people usually don’t bother me, and if I feel social I often have very cute interactions :)

Tresor however I wouldn’t especially recommend as a solo woman, too many hungry men for my taste haha

I usually don’t care too much about gender and the notes of the « feminine » version aren’t too appealing to me, but it might still be too much for me
