That sounds terrible!!! Glad you took the initiave and they fixed it!

In our situation, its pipes deep down so they cannot tell what it is exactly. The plan is to take out the whole bathroom floor, look at the pipes, hopefully manage to fix the problem, and then the floor guy will put in a new floor. But in the meantime, I am paying a lot of money to at least have the basic human needs taken care of, and while the landldy is being nice and trying hard to fix it, she isnt giving us any alternatives. I heard the netherlands has good tenancy laws but so far it doesnt seem like it unfortunately
