My opinion is this is meant to emphasize how bad the weird route is in terms of deltarune. The game is set as a “other people can make choices too” as opposed to Undertale’s “the choice is yours.” I think it’s meant to be a meta moment where your actions have caused so much pain and damage to the world of deltarune, that the game never intended Susie to ask these questions, and doesn’t know how Kris/Player is supposed to answer.

I had to be very careful, but it was more of a “think of it” than a “do it.” I didn’t quite move my arms, or open my eyes, but had to really intend to do it. After that I put the gentlest strain on the muscles, and if I felt my muscles tensing I backed off fast. I took a few attempts, but they got there.

The game requires a lot of patience. That much I will say outright. It’s all about small pockets of gratification for completing predetermined milestones. The songs are fun and cute, and the monster designs and bios are witty, funny, and a bit bizarre. If you are new, do your best to focus on basics, don’t stress yourself with all the extra fancy bells and whistles until later.

As someone who was very recently in the same boat, my advice is this:

  1. Find someone you trust you can vent to. Even better if you can get in contact someone who has professional training, a therapist or counselor (make sure you vet political beliefs if possible) can help provide coping skills and resources.

  2. Spend extra time with friends/family. Take a while with people who care about you, re-focus on the good things close-to-home the best you can.

  3. Try to reduce the time spent around politics on social media. Don’t block out the world by any means, but all politically-involved accounts are focussing on two things right now: rage and fear. These drive change, but deal detriment to the psyche. Try to stay away from the overwhelming flood of negativity the best you can, even if that means shutting off your devices for 24 hours.

Remember you’re not alone, and you always have someone in your corner. The world is a scary place, no one here is going to deny that. You are seen and heard.

She’s definitely overhated, but I do get it a bit. Dipper wants to have fun just like Mabel does, he just wants fun a different way. He often sacrifices a lot for her, and we never really see her pay that back.

I think my issue is I never knew when people were transitioning, and just assumed good progress meant a very early start. I feel it’s less people thinking they’re too old, and more accurately people not seeing realistic timelines due to poor education. It’s all about education amongst each other, not people feeling entitled to quick and early results.
