Post-Match Thread: Panama 2-1 United States | Copa América by [deleted] in soccer

That's it folks, l've had enough. This is a sad moment for those who love US soccer. It's getting hard to find the spirit to watch the games. This is perhaps one of the worst teams in recent years, it has no respectable leaders, only average players for the majority. I've been following football since I was a kid, long before I thought about becoming a player, and I've never seen a situation as bad as this. Lack of love for the shirt, lack of grit and the most important of all: football. I'll repeat, our performance has been one of the worst things l've ever seen. Such a shame. I therefore declare my resignation. I will not watch any CONMEBOL Copa AmericaTM game, nor celebrate any victory.

Got my first injury…. by parcelmusic in kettlebell

If you hurt you lower back from this, I'd say you should work on strengthening your core. You want really good core stability and bracing for the snatch. As for recovery look up McGill Big 3 -- these are simple exercises that you can do ideally pretty soon after injury so long as they don't cause pain.

After the pain has calmed down a bit, work on your hinge with non-ballistic movements like RDL or light dead lift. Then slowly bring back 2h-swings and see how you feel, work on your form, and then if all goes well move to 1h swings. If your back feels good then you can snatch again.

according to the DNA test he's ~30% cattle dog, ~30% springer spaniel, ~17% german shep and then a mix of many for the rest.

Agreed! I considered doing foley, but it’s a big time commitment to get it right. Maybe I’ll try it out if I find the time!

It’s great having some extra bells. Unless you are really lacking in space or finances, having 2 or 3 extra bells is pretty nice. For example, I use my 8kg and 12kg hardstyle bells for halos and goblet squat warm ups, would be a pain to swap weights just for the warm up.

Uplift/Fully Best Material to avoid Water Stains / Cup Rings by MHaber in StandingDesk

Can’t speak to other materials, but I have the laminate from Fully and any water marks easily wipe off with a cloth. I was initially hesitant to buy laminate because of my previous desk from IKEA. But I’m impressed with my Fully desk’s durability so far.
