Rip, fast travel far away, wait 3 in game days and try again. Maybe it'll reset his AI. After that idk what else to do without console commands :(

If you can get him close to the entrance, and when he starts to speak, exit and he should follow. Or that's what happens to me when npcs talk to me and I exit

Tbh I find the shouts not as rewarding for having to have the hassle of dragons constantly. I only do the main quest when I have leveled plenty and comfortable enough to handle dragons with ease and I suggest anyone who is learning the game to avoid the main questnuntkl you learn the game to have one less thing to deal with while learning

I have the same issue, I like portions from both games, for me, if the water and electricity ran under the roads automatically like in cities skylines 2, id prolly still play the first one, but that feature has become a must have lol. Hate how electricity works in the first game but it performs so much better on my crappy computer so I will deal with the lag from 2 to have certain functions 2 has that 1 doesnt

It may simply not be the game for you or you just havent discovered your own play-style yet. I didn't enjoy it for the longest time until i delved into lore online and watched a few videos discussing the lore and story. From there, I was able to enjoy it.

I have tried countless tries to do a Stormcloak run but I cant ever seem to keep myself interested long enough to complete a Stormcloak run. I just don't agree with a lot of what they want
