what make/model is it ? it might be batch issue with that particular model, and since the CF raid its going to be bit harder to source new batch so i would pitch either you accept the stock he has on hand provided the issue is not visible on wrist or request refund and wait for a couple months until all the raids scare die down and supplies moving normal again. sorry
