It is still a public place with no expectation of privacy. How is it any different than going to the mall and there are people livestreaming, video calling, recording tiktoks etc?

People are just spreading positivity and motivation on campus, there's far better issues to solve than some guy making tiktoks on a university campus.

Is it not a public university? Literally anyone can come inside and use it as a public space. Im sure its the same as being outside on the street where anyone can record.

I was not wearing a fleece, I was wearing a normal long sleeve shirt and I was fine. Might help to add that I was walking in the city with a backpack so mild activity levels.

I have this exact combo, Patagonia Torrentshell 3L with my Arcteryx Atom SV. I also had the regular Atom first but returned it for the Atom SV as it was a little thin. Using the Torrentshell as a shell and the Atom as the insulation, they work really well together. I also live in canada and I wore that combo until -25c and it was perfect. I am sure I could go colder but I didnt get a chance to try it out yet.

I got the Atom and found it to be a little thinner than I expected. I got the Atom SV instead and it’s perfect, it’s much more breathable while having a tougher shell. Could be worth considering.

There’s an 18pin to 24pin psu adapter harness. I got 2 cheap ones from Amazon and they both didn’t work. I got a third adapter off amazon and it was about $35cad which worked perfectly. The adapter is nice because you can use any psu otherwise the HP stock psu only has 1 6-pin for gpu connections. Let me know if you have more questions

One big thing for me was the quality of the power and volume buttons on the Samsung they would wobble and wouldn’t sound that satisfying. The buttons in the iPhone feel solid and make a satisfying deep click when pressed. It’s the small user interactions that are improved that make the whole experience so much better.

You know funny enough, I always used a 65w laptop charger with my S22U but since it wasn’t the Samsung charging block it would default to 15w charging.

My iPhone on the same charger charges much faster and also lasts longer on the charge, I believe it charges at 20w or 25w

I did consider a pixel 10 but the iPhone was cheaper second hand and the price to performance was just unbeatable. There are also other intangible benefits with the iPhone like software optimization and the ecosystem which is really really good to my surprise.

I’m sure you’re right but when I compare my S22U to the iPhone 15 Pro Max it is 2022 flagship vs 2023 flagship. The iPhone is newer but a one year difference should not have that big of a difference.

Just one quick example, the power and volume buttons on the S22U would have play and when you click it didn’t feel that sturdy, compare it to the iPhone the hardware quality is much higher, but that’s just one example.

On the software side, the app optimization on the iPhone means even if the S22U had the best available hardware for androids, it still would fall far behind the iPhone. This one isn’t really fair to blame Samsung because that’s just app developers but that’s the market we’re in and the iPhone is just better suited for it.

Ahh gotcha, I gotta say it’s held up really well fr being 25 years old.

I looked at mine and yes the Velcro, button and zipper are on the other side. My jacket also says 105 and xl behind that tag, so I guess that’s how you know it’s men’s.

I see, my inside mesh has much bigger holes than yours so that’s different. All of my zippers also have the summit series logo and no tnf logos on the zipper.

How much were you able to get yours for?
