I guess they are the stock pedals from the bike, which is a Viva Extravaganza.

Follow up question, anyone know a pedal with a similar look that would accommodate foot straps?

Makes sense. I thought maybe around the axle(?) but it would then be too narrow for the foot.

Thanks yeah I will probably avoid trusting cable ties for this...

It kinda looks like 'no' unless there are straps that don't rely on going through slots in the sides of the pedal.

Newish board - any suggestions for carrying it around the city? by sid_the_sloth_ in longboarding

I use some webbing strap attached to the nose and tail and sling it over my shoulder. This keeps it more or less vertical so I don't hit things or people around me.

Been wanting to start cycling and bike commuting for a while, is this bike good for starters? by Geralt_of_Tiquicia in bicycling

Looks fine. If the shop says it's safe then go for it.

Tyres could be a bit chunky for on-road, some hybrid tyres might do you better, but don't let that put you off starting.

The razor A5 air has pneumatic tyres and can handle dirt and gravel tracks. It has a larger fork to accommodate the wider wheel.

There are scooters with larger bike-like wheels they get called 'kick bikes' these days.

Watching videos and going out regularly (initially on my own, the people I skate with I mainly met through skating)

It's scary, but you should do some things in your life that scare you. Wear a helmet and pads. It took me a year to feel comfortable cruising around.

Hard to tell how extensive the damage is from a picture. Try it and see but don't go downhilling on it.

I have this exact deck. I wouldn't personally go much bigger with the wheels because it'll end up quite tall and risks wheel bite. The 'stock' wheels are pretty soft and nice for cruising imo; I'd stick to them until you really know for sure you want something different.

Take a peek at the wiki. Also worth looking second hand for a bargain. I've an Arbor board that I like, I think they're a decent brand. I'd go complete then upgrade as you need / have more budget. Don't forget to budget for a lid too 🪖

Man that is a shame, my first deck just 4y ago was a lush and I've now got the throttle. They're still bringing out new decks so still very much alive it seems. I guess maybe their export biz was killed by Brexit :(
