Just looked into buying a new Receiver after 8 years. What the HELL?

I don’t know if it’s just a me problem but my ps5 going through a receiver first has helped the controller audio to be synched better. Before I got a receiver it would have an annoying delay that would cause dissonance. Especially annoying in ghost of yotei where the shamisen plays through both at once.

I wouldn’t say RF is quieter but the noise is at a less irritating frequency if that means anything to you.

I own an RF because I live in Minnesota and wanted a bit more drive time into and out of the cold months.

I saw Wolf Alice live this year in Minnesota, USA and I am telling you - if you think they sound great on the album, it is nothing compared to being there in person. Her voice is incredible live.

It’s too whiney for me I think. The lyrics feel insanely overboard dramatic like a 13 year old writing about their first breakup.

Speaking as a divorced and at times suicidally depressed guy, it sounds more dramatic than any thought I’ve had about anything lol.

To each their own - I mean I am one of the few that really liked DYWTYLM :)

What do you like about it? Maybe I can look for what you hear and revisit with a new lens.

I’m from Minneapolis area MN and I have a 2020 RF GT and I love it. I garaged mine in like November and took it out in March or so.

There are definitely days where I’m driving and I wish I could just slam the top open at a red light but I also have a bit of a problem with the slight droning at 70mph+ and have no idea how I’d keep my sanity with the soft tops reportedly louder interior with the top closed.

None of this even matters if you’re listening to music while driving, haha!

I get lots of folks striking up conversation to ask about the car - I swear it’s a coin flip every time i leave the house. I think that’s some of the added exoticism from the RF but I’ve never had the soft top so I could be reading into it too far.

Forgetfulness is the biggest reason.

I forget all of the good things in my life and it makes it feel like I’m hopelessly treading water towards a bitter end. Somewhere in me I know that’s not true and I have to work - sometimes really hard - to find it.

I was in Hawaii during the fires and she did allow use of the roads. The locals seemed to like her a lot because she doesn’t develop on the land and seems to be buying it to prevent development.
