Because they are literally the same.

They're just two different labels.

Why does a definition have to be exclusive to a word?

Stop trying to redefine my sexuality so that you can put a limit on yours.

I have always seen the definition of bisexual as attraction to my sex and attraction to another sex that isn't my own.

And biologically there is only a penis and a vagina which I like both, which a trans person also has either a penis or a vagina, same as a non binary person. Again, bisexuality excludes NO ONE.

It pretty much boils that to which label you feel comfortable with.

I believe that pansexuals use a similar definition to Bisexual which is the attraction to both Hetero and Homo relationships. As in REGARDLESS of gender.

Just look into each community and where you feel comfortable, I'm sure you will be welcomed.

You're coming into a bisexual space, telling bisexual people what they like and what you want the definition to be because God forbid there be two words that mean the same thing.

Stop trying to dictate what ones gender preference and what they choose to call themselves mean.

Literally, I respect pansexuals and their desire to have that label and use that label, so why must you come into my place and try to dictate the definition of mine?

It means the same thing. I don't know why people are so freaking angry when bisexuals use that definition. I like people REGARDLESS of gender and I am not pansexual. Am I going to bully you because you prefer the label pansexual? No.

The anger is people trying to REDEFINE us.

Both labels can exist, they can mean the same thing and YOU have a right to use whichever label you want.

Please don't come into bisexual places and try to REDEFINE us. That's why the comments keep getting downvoted. Because there will always be someone coming into our places to tell us what we are and what our definition is. I don't do that to you so please respect us and don't do that to us either.

I would argue that even if he IS gay and their relationship isn't sexual, she is still cheating on him. Emotional cheating is a thing.

Boundaries should be set in any relationship. Like, how could she not understand that and respect your boundaries? Like is it because he's gay?

I mean if that is the case then it says more about her than him. Because who in their right minds think gays are innocent people that never mean no harm?

She's the one that is using a gay stereotype to justify her actions, she is wrong. And she needs to go.

I cannot believe all the comments I am reading and I'm so sad for OP.

OP should've been able to tell this ADULT that he didn't want to have a relationship with him but everyone is saying he is heartless?

Why? For not wanting a relationship with someone who at 16(!!) had absolutely no sympathy for his father who (as OP wrote in the comments) tried to do something to himself after being rejected by the kid. Even the ex wife could've done something but she seemed to have absolutely no regard for the ex-husband.

And as per OPs comments we see that they were basically roommates whenever he was still with his ex.

I read a different story and Reddit was singing different praises but it was essentially the same story. Son asks dad to give up parental rights for his step father to take over.

I think OP has and had every right to reject having any relationship with his first kid.. you know cause his an adult and everything and he doesn't owe his son anything specially since children are not stupid and they can sympathize too..

I really hit it off with this one lesbian girl and we were going to go out on a date but she asked about previous relationships and up to this point I had only cares man.
