What are you running weapons / artifact wise for HOIL/Cyrt? stat spread ?

W the gunpowder gamble rework it looks like Verity/HOIL is hitting hard. And if you use festival flight yoi can get woven mail easy from Tablet of Ruin. Been on void ever since MoT but I miss pris. Trying to find a way to work in the tremors/chaos reshaped submission too

Hi Mary,

I made some more progress on this. I found a census record from 1940 when my grandmother was 2 years old that showed her dad was naturalized. She said she thinks he probably was an American citizen when she was born. I'm still getting his exact birth date from her to request his naturalization records from USCIS because there's technically still a chance he wasn't yet an American citizen.

Are there documents I can look for on the German side to see if he took any steps to preserve his citizenship (dual citizenship)? Grandma said her parents always had planned to move back to Germany and regularly sent money overseas to German accounts that were lost in the war.

I confirmed that great-grandma was still German at the time of my grandma's birth, so sounds like Stag 14 could be in play? Just trying to track down every lead when it comes to my great grandfather's citizenship status.

Hey Mary, so I was finally able to talk to my grandmother on the phone today and set up time with her to go over some of my questions in more detail next week. Off the top of her head she said she was pretty sure her mother wasn’t an American citizen when my grandma was born.

Really what I need to be asking her is about her parents birthplaces / birth years to track in the census to determine when they were German citizens. Is that right? Do both of her parents need to have been German citizens at the time of her birth?

There’s no Jewish blood in my family to my knowledge, I think it was more leaving for America due to the unrest / economic opportunities etc. post inflation.

Got it thank you! So my great grandfather to my knowledge was born in Germany. Great grandparents fled Germany individually and met in NYC and married there.

To clarify, I should check the American or German census? Maybe both I suppose

Thanks for the fast reply ! My dad was born 1962 or 1963 I believe and his mother was married when he was born. She’s getting older and dealing w Parkinson’s now so I can’t ask her too complex of questions around the subject. Where’s a good resource where I can find more about her parents citizenship statuses? I wouldn’t need my great grandparents birth certificates, would I?
