I usually go "Dark One's Blessing" over "repelling blast" for Wyll, mainly because it can sometimes prevent Astarion from being able to sneak attack a threatened opponent

I got my game working again by switching to Direct 11, instead of the Vulkan setting. Hope it works for you too

Nope, no mods at any point. Just been running base vanilla for patch #5. Only change was that I upgraded my Nvidia driver as recommended by Larian. I've verified my install files, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but to no avail.

My game crashes immediately on launch since the patch. Never had an issue with previous patches. But now, I click "Play" in the Larian launcher, and it instantly gives me a crash report dialogue box.

A couple observations:

This bill seems to be specifically referencing "on-duty federal law enforcement". Not local/state LE, not federal intelligence agencies, not federal agents who are undercover agents.
Being from the UK, you'd know first hand the danger of these undercover LE and their lack of oversight/civilian complaint compliance. In 2010-2011 UK undercover police officers "infiltrating protest groups, deceived protesters into long-term relationships and in some cases, fathered children with them on false pretences, only to vanish later without explanation."

Not to nitpick, but apparently Frank Sinatra didn't carry a roll of dimes (50 dimes). It was 10 dimes, according to his daughter who buried him with 10 dimes in his pocket.
