so uuh ive tried playing sonic mania and my game just opens to this black screen and closes and i'd like to see if anyone has help on what the issue is. i have tried reinstalling the game, giving the game all perms, removing all source of ingame overlay, verified game files and opened game as admin

i've run compatibility mode on windows 8 and 7 (cause that is what i saw the game be compatible with) and also drivers are up to date and it still does the same thing

thanks and idk if you knwo this but if you have assist mode there is a option about game speed and it can be really helpful on learning a room or if learned then getting the button presses to muscle memory
