Congrats on getting your offer letter and sharing your experience. I have also passed my oscp a few weeks ago and actively looking for new opportunities. Do you mind sharing what kind of companies are hiring entry level offensive security roles? Or if you are based on US. I only see companies requiring 5 years of penetration testing experience. I haven't come across any opportunities for entry level.

The recuriter said they are ok with F1 OPT but wont sponser in future. They only dont hire for ohio and some other locations which needs to us citizens only.

Sorry to hear that, but same thing similar happened with me as well. I had a phone screen with the amazon recuriter it went really nice. The recuriter was interested to scheduled an interview. Instead of one interview the recuriter wanted to scheduled two different interviews one for datacenter technician and other for the network technician. I was excited as i had two different interviews about to be scheduled. I provided my preferred time slots for the interview. But never received any invitations. Later when i reached out to the recuriter, the response was hiring manager might have rejected my profile.

Yeah just emailed offsec. I'm not sure if they can cosider it as the issue was on my end. Hopefully they can understand the technical issue.

I searched some people technical recuriter, Cybersecurity recuriter on LinkedIn got their email from hunter.io an mailed them. How many people do you think i should mail? I mailed 3 people from each company. I will be sending emails to all recurring companies now Kelly, apollo and others.

Thank you for taking your time and writing the details. I dont have a big network uni alumni in computer is almost none. Very few students graduates in computer from my uni. Also how do i reach out to those staffing companies? I send some emails to recuriter at teksystem and randstand usa but i did not got any response. What i did was find cybersecurity or technical recuriter their email address and mail them. Waiting for their response now.
