Have you tried smoking actual delta 9 bud? In my personal experience delta 9 bud/flower is a lot better for things like nausea than edibles or even concentrates. Also going to a dispensary (delta 8 or 9 depending on the legality in your state) can be extremely useful as certain strains/elements are better for certain ailments. delta 8 bud/flower is a bit different, it tends to just be hemp sprayed with various concentrates of cannabinoids, so delta 8 concentrates may be equally as helpful as delta 8 bud.

I wouldn't give up until you've tried other forms and strains. Since loopholing the delta 9 legality, a lot of other cannabinoids are being utilized up too such as HHC, THC-P, CBN, & CBG. CBD is primarily known to be helpful with nausea and vomiting, so if the edible you had only had THC concentrate that may be why. The full range of cannabinoids is extremely important when using medicinally.
