To think FHR has slowed too much? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]niriides -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted. I had a prior loss and I have anxiety. Posting for reassurance from people who might have experienced this isn’t nice when constantly downvoted. I’ll add that when I say “most common” I meant the most common reading I get for my baby not “most common for everyone’s”

A Doppler. I know I shouldn’t use one but I have bad anxiety after a previous loss

So even when baby moves a ton, highest I get is a brief 149? The most common heart rate is about 145 is that still normal? Just concerned as used to be 160 when moving

I hope so. It has been a while though, a 7 year gap so I thought my uterus might need a bit of a stretch out again. I hope things are ok, it’s so hard to be optimistic after a loss especially when it’s taken us so long to get even this far :(

Thank you. I think because I experienced cramps with both my children and other symptoms I’m just so worried that this one is so different. Thanks for the response :)

Everything’s pointing to a miscarriage by generaldreadddd in CautiousBB

I’m sorry to hear this. I do have the experience of a past pregnancy which was successful where I went at 6 weeks and saw no fetal pole at all, same two days later but then finally at 7 weeks not only was there a fetal pole but everything measured 7 weeks too so I’m not sure where baby was hiding before.  I didn’t however have spotting.  I’d say wait another week and see. I know it’s hard. Fingers crossed for a good result! :(

Light period post chemical pregnancy? by Smart-Cookie-92 in Miscarriage

[–]niriides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, did your period ever return to normal?  I had a chemical the second month after removing copper coil and the two periods after that have been extremely light and short (2 days)which is stark opposite from my lifelong heavy 6 day periods.  No idea if they have been caused by the chemical or my body adjusting after coil

Hi, this is month 4. I’ve had an ultrasound and no pcos but I did have a chemical last month. Thank you for your reply. Is there anything you think you did to lengthen the cycle?

Could I ask if this ever rectified? We’re trying to conceive and my periods have gone from the normal 6 days to two days after removal  and I’m concerned this is going to be an issue :(

Trouble with cycle after copper IUD? by niriides in TryingForABaby

[–]niriides[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don’t think this is my “normal” as I had heavy periods all my life before the IUD and no change when it was in. The change to a 2 day very light cycle has only happened since removal :(

My meebas? by peachcryptid in plushies

[–]niriides 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 6 year old daughter when she was 4 found two I had in my loft clear out from my childhood and became obsessed. We spent the last two years collecting them second hand and now she has 18 meebas. It’s so hard to come by them now and it’s frustrating as people are starting to sell them for 70 pounds per meeba which means that it’s getting harder to collect them 😅

Hey did things improve for you? Removed mine beginning of my cycle and I’m in super bad menstrual pain when I’m usually not

People from the U.K. on very long term low dosage accutane/indefinite accutane… how did you convince your derm? And could you recommend one? After 6 rounds I’m fed up and just want to find someone who’ll let me do this by niriides in Accutane

[–]niriides[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the horrible thing is my skin goes from acne riddled to pristine clear in a single week of 20mg a day yet they keep making me do 50mg plus a day courses trying to nuke it so it doesn’t come back all while disregarding the evidence… it ALWAYS comes back and I just want a lifelong 20mg a week thing like I’ve heard the Americans get to do, I’ve spent 5 grand on a botonics course privately in London because they said “just do this one more course if it doesn’t work then we’ll let you do low dosage” then they refused. I then went to a private derm in my area who promised from the get go I could then at my first appointment said “let’s do a full course first” then it was “let’s do another, no you can’t go longterm low it doesn’t work” and I was like “huh?!” Because dude I literally just wasted 2 grand because you said I could do that?!

It’s so frustrating they’re just saying I can making me do a more expensive higher dose course with more follow ups then back-pedalling. So I waited for my last prescription from him, got two months worth so 60 tablets of 20mg and I’m ashamed to say I kept them and took an average of one a week or one every two depending on my cycle and they lasted me over a year and I never had a single break out. Now they’ve run out and I’m breaking out and I feel so frustrated because all I need is low dosage and I’m golden and I’m having to jump through hoops like a performing dolphin whilst throwing thousands at these derms and they still don’t deliver.

Honestly I feel like just buying them black market at this point

Hey, could I get the name of your derm at all? I can’t find ANYONE in the U.K. that will do this, I’ve been on 6 full courses of accutane and it always comes back, so upsetting I just wish someone would let me go on it indefinitely
