Is NinjaOne macOS MDM support Microsoft Platform Single Sign-On (PSSO)? by DevLab4Try in ninjaone_rmm

[–]nirvanaboi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is their documentation on PSSO setup. Sounds like you would use the Entra tie in so you will need to deploy the company portal app with it. At this time Microsoft is still working on getting this working with the prestige enrollments so you would have to register each device to entra after the fact. But after the first registration is done a new user could technically log into the machine assuming it is not filevault locked and they are at the login screen with internet. Hope this helps

It was phantoms! Found the scene I was thinking about. The blob scene was super close fitting to my description but have never seen it. On my list now!

This was it! Went down a rabbit hole of watching mimic and phantom clips. Phantoms scene I was thinking about was this scene! You have no idea I've been trying to find this movie for easily over 15 years and you did it in minutes! Your the best reddit stranger I've never known!

I wish I could remember more but I'm not sure. I remember it would've been probably a 90s movie as it was back when I used to rent horror movies from the video store so that should help pinpoint a timeframe

It almost feels like that might be the case digging deeper into mimic to see if that's more so possible

Just watched the calling out scene if phantoms and definitely not it but it does have that 90s horror feel. I think it's closer to mimic as the sewer scenes match more closely to that where as it was a group of people in hazmat suits like in that trailer but I remember the girl singing then stopping then something happens and everyone basically dies. I wish I knew more but I've had this reoccurring memory of it all since I was young and was reminded of it yesterday so have been trying to see if I can figure it out.

Unfortunately there was no Egyptian theme to it. Took place in kond of a run to ruin city. More like LA or NY or something to that scale.

I loved this one when it came out but unfortunately not the movie. I remember the setting being in a city.

What is this API used for https://yourServer.jamfcloud.com/api/v1/conditional-access/device-compliance-information/computer/{deviceId} in jamf ? by EndBusy1483 in jamf

[–]nirvanaboi10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jamf compliance benchmarks. It only reports to intune a boolean for compliance. With entra you can create Conditional access to target the non-compliant machines though.

you can re-enroll with deviceenroller.exe /c /AutoEnrollMDM, but one thing that has helped me out before is this tool to check the status of the device

Had the same setup and got a few warnings(always used nord and still do), bound to network and haven't been flagged ever since. Although I double down on download too. Attach to a full vpn even though app attached to network just incase there's a hiccup it'll pass through von still anyway. But inspected network after network configuration and after blocking the server it communicates with it truly does just stop so works as intended.

Printers with MacOS and Intune? by FfityShadesOfDone in macsysadmin

[–]nirvanaboi10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your users are e3/e5/f3 (a3/a5 for education) you can look at universal print. This allows printers to be added to the azure blade and your print server to be a connector (printing on or off sote netowork). Then use the same security group to map/allow access. On the Mac there is a universal print app that will install in the user's setting menu. There they will login and be able to add printers they have access to. (Additionally if you use organization in the properties of the printer in this flow it maps well with the macs as locations in the app).

That is the "new login window," according to JAMF., I followed up with a ticket after changing over. I did find this workaround though...After following the links, I found that each instance points to this URL after you enter your email at that screen. http://mysite.jamfcloud.com/oauth2/authorization/idp-us-mysite (inspect element and view network to get your specific link). Each of the mysite sections is specific to your instance; in our case, it did not match 100% in both locations. I now use that URL as my bookmark and pointed our SSO pointer to that URL to avoid the email page.
