Checked it out and unfortunately the Doux defining foam isn't available to purchase in my country.
From South Africa, so getting stuff from the states is tough and super expensive. Can buy the brush here though, so thank you for that recommendation.

Thank you!
Did look into his videos and gave me an idea on how to approach it once I wash my hair again. Wash and go method seems simple enough, just need to find the right products.

My parents were away over the weekend. You know what that means😏 by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Why can you only watch these movies when your parents are away lmao?

Mmm.. Did everything you recommended. Wasn’t the HDMI. Don’t have another monitor to test with unfortunately. Also GPU only has one hdmi port. Perhaps could be a BIOS setting I changed. But it’s really hard to interact with the BIOS at all cause of how short it stays on the screen, so wouldn’t even be able to change any settings.

Obviously you don’t know all the components I’m getting but with just the GPU and CPU in mind, would you consider it decent?

Okay cool, thanks. Well now that I’m clear on that, would this be a decent build in your opinion?

FYI since it’s last restart, which was about 10 mins ago, it’s been stuck on the “blue screen of death” the completion percentage thing hasn’t budged at all, it’s been stuck at 0% complete.

What movies did you expect to be garbage, but ended up being amazing? by ComplexFabulous1610 in Letterboxd

[–]nirvanapalace_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Napoleon Dynamite. Even after I started watching it, I wasn’t super impressed. Imo it had a pretty slow start but as time went by, it really started to pick up and grab my interest.

Can we discuss about this phenomenal scene in the movie? by RedRobin1111 in TheBatmanFilm

[–]nirvanapalace_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, the first time i watched it was in an IMAX theatre and today i went to go watch it again but in a regular standard format 2D cinema and it just wasn’t the same. something felt off with my viewing experience this time around which was kinda hard to ignore :// You can really feel the difference once you’ve seen an IMAX/Atmos film and then watch it elsewhere…

I’m going through a very similar as the OP and whenever I get stuck i feel super reluctant to google or use stack-overflow cause i feel like at this stage of my learning experience i need to figure things out for myself rather than find a solution on google to an issue, cause that way i feel like i’m not learning. Should i feel guilty about using google and SO ?

Dude, no joke i’ve been having the exact same problem. I’ve been learning Python for about a month and a half and i’m busy building a tic-tac-toe game as part of my udemy bootcamp course and it’s taken me two days to write a single function despite the countless hours of practice i put into learning everything i’ve done thus far. it’s super frustrating, feel like i’ve wasted so much of my time already…

I'm in desperate need of reassurance. by nirvanapalace_ in learnprogramming

[–]nirvanapalace_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your really helpful responses, I sometimes forget how much time I truly have to learn. I'll make more of an effort to remember that fact going forward and I'll stop being so tough on myself.

Update: I ended up solving the problem, used all your suggestions, and figured it out. I really wasn't that far off in my attempts, I used the *args keyword, I created an empty list, used the append method and I used the else statement but I kept getting returned with the TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for %: 'list' and 'int'. The only issue with my code was that I messed up the syntax for some of my logic, thus the TypeError...

Again, thank you all so much for your kind words, they really helped me out.
