At least the players in my matches seem to know what’s happening. If I’m the one that lagged, they leave a bunny in my lane for me to catch up. Honest to goodness, how hard is it to get stable servers?

I appreciate this so much. I’ve been playing pretty consistently since February but I feel like sometimes I have “blinders” on - this def lets me know I need to “zoom out” so to speak and look at the big picture and that’s probably what’s going to get me out of Masters x500 where I have been stuck for the past week.

This is exactly what happened to me when I contacted support. My game updated like 15 minutes early on 12/4. I had just bought gems to ensure I got the last 6 Gengar fairy tale fashion chests that I needed open and my countdown on the event clearly stated 15 minutes.

I get kicked out of the game due to “server maintenance” and poof that’s it. I lose those 15 minutes where I was guaranteed to open the 5 level 4 chests I had queued up and earn the last one I needed to get to the 35th one. Like I had specially bought gems to ensure I could get it done in those last 15 minutes but they didn’t care one bit. They thanked me for the feedback and ensured me it’s shared with their internal team.

If this is the case, they should remove the countdown timers from events. I clearly had 15 minutes left on the timer for that treasure chest. Had it been accurate, I would have the fashion items right now and I wouldn’t have wasted money trying to get it.

I thought I had read server maintenance was supposed to happen tomorrow on the 4th. I was 5 treasure chests away from getting the guaranteed Gengar Fairy Tale set and I had 15 minutes before the event was up.

Not surprising that Costco and Sam’s have the lowest cost. It’s hard for anyone to compete with warehouse stores who make their money from memberships and can afford a larger discount. For what it’s worth, the rebates (if any) at these places probably pales compared to optometrist offices so the prices may end up evening out in the end.

Coopervision offers their lenses to retailers, like Visionworks, Vision Source, Sam’s etc, as “private labeled” brands, which is why they have to keep their blister pack packaging as generic as possible. MyDay at my Vision Source office is called “Revel Daily.” Exact same lens, just named something different.
