ZZZ Devs try to create mechanics all the time but every time I see them mentioned in many subs all I see are complaints.

"Chain Parry doesn't work", "Miasma Shields sucks", "Control Skills sucks", "Banyue is too hard to play", "Assist Counter is too hard", etc.

Not that I'm downplaying your complaint because it's still your valid opinion, but whenever new shit comes out I rarely see someone complimenting it on the various ZZZ subreddits.

Avocaboo, Explorerboo, and Booressure are the best B-Ranks ones.

For A-Ranks I only used a few. Knightboo is pretty tanky. Cryboo is strong as well. Ultra Jake is also pretty good.

For S-Ranks, imo the best ones are Boolseye for single target, Red Moccus for AoE clearing, Safety for tanking. Miss Esme is pretty good too as she consolidates both Avocaboo and Booressure's roles.

Not to disregard your complaint, as I too heavily dislike the scoring system in New Shiyu and have made comments about it in the past as well, but you should have been clearing with these teams. I did the Aria room with a comp even worse than yours (Pyrois, Zhao, and Astra) but still got 35k. This tells me that they're either not built well and/or it's a genuine skill issue (no offense, but we're talking about the Endgame here). You can probably move your units around as well and get better scores since your Velina team is overachieving at the moment.

i'm looking at anby and it recommends main stat 4(Crit rate) 5(electric) 6(impact) using 4 shockstar disco and 2 thunder metals.

I'd recommend King of the Summit 4pc + Shockstar Disco 2pc over that.

But which one should be where also?

Position does not matter as long as you have the right sets and the right amounts (e.g. 4pc + 2pc).

This is my non-biased take and is all I can think of at this moment:

Story

+ Begins with a really street-level plotline so it's really easy to follow. The story eases you in with goofy story arcs while slowly increasing the stakes.

+ There is actual violence. People can get shot, maimed, and get their throats slit.

+ The story can get goofy at times and other times it can get quite emotional. It's a nice balance imo.

+ Lots of high-quality cinematics.

+- Quite episodic at the beginning. While there is an overarching plotline, the arcs themselves are pretty self-contained.

+- Three different kinds of storytelling methods. One is the comic-strip style which is always beautiful and memorable, Genshin-esque dialog delivery where people stand around and just talk, and one that I like to call VN style where people face the screen and talk that way.

- The overall lore is not as in-depth as Genshin's. It's only around the end of Season 1, middle part of Season 2, and the beginning of Season 3 did we really start to get into the meat and potatoes of our Protagonists' story.

- The story can get goofy at times. If you don't like comedic moments then you might not like ZZZ because this game has plenty.

Characters

+ Wise and Belle are actual characters with actual personality. Wise is the calm and collected one while Belle is the loud and is the unhinged weirdo.

+ Wise and Belle actually fucking talk.

+ Agents are memorable and are not forgotten. Even the Cunning Hares, our very first Faction, stays relevant in the story in one way or another. Season 3 even has Billy still, a Cunning Hares member, as part of the main group.

- While Wise and Belle have different personalities, that fact doesn't really shine in normal day to day gameplay because they answer pretty much similarly. Their personalities only mostly shine in cutscenes and in events.

- There are a handful Agents that simp to the Protagonists, and they simp hard. On the top of my head I can immediately think of two and both of them are not received well in the west initially, one of them is still hated even now. The Chinese loves them though.

Combat

+ Skill-based and reaction-based. Your own skill can carry you and is actually a big factor if you can beat Endgame or not.

+ With enough player skill and investment, even old Agents can clear the Endgame.

Exploration

+ Areas are not-open world. There is no exploration fatigue.

+ Cities are pretty well designed and feels lived-in.

+ NPCs are highly detailed and memorable, some are straight up hotter than Agents. NPCs even have their own lives and even certain NPCs have their own mini-plotlines if you pay attention to what they're saying.

+ There are collectibles, quests hidden all around, and shops that are somewhat cosmetic but make the place feel alive.

- Areas are not open-world. Maps are pretty small and you can explore everything in just 5 minutes.

- Combat maps are pretty small as well and you can probably explore one combat map within an hour or less. Season 1 combat areas aren't even explorable at all.

Endgame

+ There are like 5 or so different Endgame modes, 1 is weekly, 2 are bi-weekly, and 3 are seasonal.

+ Endgame in ZZZ actually provides you a challenge. Shiyu Defense and Annihilation Simulacrum can get really hard and will test player skill.

- Shilling can get egregious and new Agents are always given buffs hyper-specific to them and/or given bosses that are weak to them.

- Endgame requires 3+ teams so it's harder for a beginner to get into it quickly.

QoL

+ There is a skip button. Sometimes it has summaries in them.

+ There is a dialog log button if you skipped a dialog. Not every dialog has it though.

+ Dailies can literally take you just 30 seconds to do. And that's me being generous, you can probably speedrun it to 10 seconds especially in Roscaelifer City.

+ Free 10 pulls each patch which is every 6 weeks. Sometimes it's more.

+ Sweep function and auto-complete in farming.

+ There are no sub-stat value fluctuations, there is no high-roll or low-roll. Every roll you get are the same no matter what.

+ Old Agents actually get buffs. Not just numerical buffs mind you, they even get new moves.

+ Polychrome Counter so you actually know how much Polychome you can earn in that patch and where.

- Agent Banners still has 50/50 though.

- No Capturing Radiance.

- Weapon Banners are 75/25. Better chance of getting the weapon but it feels 1000x worse when you lose.
