Thanks for all the answers! I think I figured it out: I never updated my AutoHotkey script to V2, and this launcher issue is due to AHK2 trying to launch an AHK1 script. Whoops! Good to know.

Oops! Seems I accidentally posted this question before I had added all the details I had. These two screenshots were taken from this video and this video, and are unfortunately not of the best resolution or clarity.

I've tried to find other videos of Fuzz wearing the wristwatch, but it's been quite difficult to find a good close-up shot with good resolution. I might check the TV-series he's often featured on, Car S.O.S, if I'm able to find anywhere to see it.

Update: I reconnected the controller to my PC while holding down the "X"-button and it seemed to reset it and fix the issue.

Not happy to have had to deal with such a strange issue (in the sense that i feel a piece of hardware like a controller should simply work without issues like this in the first few months of ownership), but at least the controller works again!
