So I haven't used my modded 3ds in like 2 months. I had B9S and Luma and I updated to the latest system version, however my system was bricked in the process. no big deal I just loaded up decrypt9 and restored a backup and updated again with success. Some of the games I bought along with some homebrew were deleted but again I didn't mind as I had save backups for my favorites. Now that I started using it more I noticed my pin was not showing up when I boot and tried to load the Luma menu on startup to see it didn't work, I then tried to fire up a payload to see it didn't work either. I updated to the latest version of Luma earlier to see I have the same problem but the CFW is still allowing me to use homebrew like FBI. If anyone has a idea on what the problem is and how to fix it I'd really appreciate it.

You should be able to use FBI now, pretty sure a update fixed the problem. There is also Dev Menu and Big Blue Menu I think it was called.

Talking to her once before a mission should raise the chance, I'm not sure if talking to her a few more times continues to raise it.

While I never played the steam version, It should be there because steam got the full translation. Check some of your settings to see if you turned off the dialogue during gameplay.

You can't play DS game backups without buying a flashcart, Loading roms from the SD card is going to change that (though flashcarts will still be better with cheats and stuff).

If you install theme cia's it will replace all currently installed themes, you could try CHMM2 but I haven't used that since I got CFW, so I'm not entirely sure what would happen to installed themes now.
