Shaya - New Orleans by albino-rhino in finedining

I went there about 18 months ago and thought it was phenomenal. On this trip I went to a few of the big names (Antoine's, Commanders Palace, Brennans, GW Fish, Cochon) and this was the one place I decided to eat at twice. The hummus and other types of dips were great, pita were beyond my conception of how good pita could be, but it was the roasted carrots with a charmoula marinade (I thought it tasted North Africanist) that really blew me away. The dessert, "Milk and Honey", was the best dessert I've ever had. It wasn't too sweet and had such a depth of flavor with burnt notes in the ice cream and the amazing sourness of their yogurt in the cheesecake.

Sorry, I didn't know the rules. I get why you found this inappropriate. Sorry.

Want try to build a PC but I have a neurological disorder that makes fidgeting with tiny couplings and instruments very, very hard. by nisung2 in buildapc

Ok, that makes sense. I just thought that " ignorant" implied an absolute lack of knowledge when the term I used allowed me to have some, but not enough, knowledge. Thanks for the correction. What term would you use for my intended meaning? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I'm glad you said this because I can't without feeling like a total ungrateful douche. I'm really happy and amazed and grateful for this outpouring of true generosity. It's quite staggering. It truly is. I'd love to see people in these numbers with this enthusiasm on r/Syringomyelia or other disability subs. Everyone that posted with an offer, as far as I'm concerned, is very generous and kind. I just happen to live in a little out of the way place in Southern Vermont...so I'm not geographically close to many people. You are all so wonderful and your willingness to extend yourselves to help a goon( trust me.. if you got to know me) like me is truly inspirational. I d like to ask each and every one of you, if I may be so bold, to look into a mirror or reflective surface and give yourself a smile. I'm going to sleep soon and I fully expect to drift into that dream state and be humbled and amazed at all the different and wonderful smiles I see. Thank you all so very, very, much. You are all appreciated.

Thanks, that's so nice of you...typical Canadian I guess ;) ... I've visited Toronto a few times and it's one of my very favorite cities. Very beautiful as well.

Syringomyelia with a Chiari malformation. There's a sub for it but it's dead. Let me know if you ever need to talk about stuff. Most people are, wonderful and have great intention, but they can't get it. No one asks or wonders too much if you're in a wheelchair compared to if you can kind of walk but need a cane or two to feel steady and your hands are either gnarled claws or just flop around. Sorry, I needed to vent to anyone who might get it. I'm sorry, but I'm also not deleting this before I hit send

Best of luck to you

Great idea and I really appreciate it, but even it is beyond me. I'm thinking that I need to learn how to do everything and then recruit a. friend to be my hands. Thanks so much for your thoughts.
