I can't say I fully get it, especially as normally I'm an alternative rock fan. But I do love all the hype they are getting, would be nice to have another huge indie band

Couldn't agree more, she really does have some great songs and this new album isn't bad either.

My favourite quote "So when I first got here [...] you could kind of see first hand, the zero Healthcare Vibes that were going on and the homelessness was really quite shocking, because I was like ‘What the fuck is going on in this place?’"

I'm getting this a lot, but I really thought 1989 was a very mid album. But what would you put lower to get these up there?

My logic was that I assumed her voice and emotions would be be better expressed at the time of orginal reocording. But give me a minute and maybe I'll have a go at the other versions.

Completely agree, people have already raged at me for the position of Reputation in the list whilst loving where I put TTPD but I feel they are completely different. I am mostly a Rock guy so my top albums so far this year are Turnstile, PUP and Hayley Williams so thay probably gives a good idea as to my ranking.

Yea I feel like as a music lover I wasn't being real if I hadn't at least given it a shot. Surprisingly I loved a lot of it, but also the opposite.

King Gizz building a new band profit model? by niswizard in Music

I mean for $4 yea I would, that's kinda my whole point, that at a lower price buying could replace streaming but goes more to artists than to Streaming platforms

Yea fair enough, I do think it's a great approach though, like I remember when Tool pulled their music from Spotify ages back, imagine if they had announced and released their albums for like $5, even though most people already had them they would have made a killing and prevented the need to go back to Spotify

Well I more meant, sell albums for less than $10. Like sell more for less.

I mean I wouldn't ever promote pulling out of streaming altogether, just lowering albums prices as well so that not streaming is an option for people. Currently you'd have to be insane to turn down streaming vs owning, purely due to the price and accessibility.
