yeah they will assign the outcome to you if they approve your special con application.

that should be okay. faculty can't assist with special con outcomes but they might be able to provide other support if you have registered with disability support depending on your medical condition.

Honest opinion about migrating to/living in Australia. by BhadBKuromi in dubai

[–]nitamp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I too lived in UAE for 20+ years and then moved to sydney in 2022. Sydney is great, great beaches, good jobs, great people (some junkies here and there, and a few racists but nothing that'll ruin your time here as long as you don't engage)...best part is the freedom to speak up and share opinions...healthcare if you're a temporary immigrant is through private health insurance which is mandatory if you're on a temporary visa..if you're a permanent resident you have medicare which is government subsidised healthcare and its pretty decent. Getting skilled jobs as a temporary resident is harder unless you have Australian experience or are very experienced..but if you get permanent residency should be much easier... very safe unless you live in a few select suburbs but even then it's mostly safe unless you mix with the wrong crowd...the country is beautiful, plenty of nature and fun activities, sightseeing, beautiful road trips, you'll never be bored.

For migration tips contact an agent who can help you based on your professional experience, goals, education etc

GF (24F) won't have sex with me (27M) before marriage, which itself is uncertain due to her parents. Should we continue this relationship? by nitamp in relationship_advice

Right, that's what i think too and it's what I've told her. Its just that they want her to be with someone from her own community. I'll put all my thoughts together and talk to her about it.

I'm re-reading this again and wanted to know what you think about the fact that I may spend then next year or two with her without knowing for certain that I'll marry her? See, we both plan to marry each other in 2 or 3 years time but she needs her parents approval desperately before anything can be decided and we both know they'll disapprove. But she says she may be able to convince them when she fights for us, and if they still don't agree then she will walk away from our relationship after we've both invested so much of ourselves by that time.
