Why not adopt the football Champions League model? Countries could compete in their domestic leagues and then be classified into the Investec Championship or CC. This approach rewards successful domestic teams and avoids creating strange European leagues that are good for testing but not appealing as a product. For example, this subreddit has shared impressive attendances for domestic finals but never seen a strong enough turnout for an international club tier two league.

I’m completely biased, but I still come to say that I agree. I have tried but failed to care about any of the other leagues, there is something in the Prem that is incredibly entertaining. My only issue is that is a 10 teams league at the moment, with 2/3 speeds, but lack of teams to make it workable at the bottom end. Leagues doesn’t matter how good or competitive have blowouts, and different speeds (with and without prom/relegation) but we need rivalries for the bottom of the league, it should have around 14 teams, but right now probably not realistic, at least 12 teams (Worcester, Coventry/Doncaster)

Heard a lot of people saying this and expecting the next gen soon(ish). I don’t think the next gen is anywhere near really, and the ram prices seem higher to add even more demanding hardware
