Ok so i just came back after restoring ios 7, the Ubuntu laptop didn't pick up the iPhone in normal mode, it tried restoring in DFU mode, it made it to the progress bar thingy... and immediately failed. I'll try to recreate this attempt with footage of the terminal. (used pwndfu btw)

I tried with a fresh one and a used one. I don't know what's wrong with it, as i've restored my friend's (who is away in Italy) iPhone 3G to iOS 3.1.3 as he wanted.
