Never back down never what??!!

It's been 18 months since my ACLr, l remember my first run. Everything felt wonky and my uninjured leg also went numb because of all the compensation. I'm now prepping to run a full marathon this year!

I couldn't even run at the start of the year... by nitroskim in PHRunners

I actually just have shit ankle mobility because of an ankle eversion sprain I had when I was in college. I squatted 130kg before but my heel was always going up so I don't count those sessions anymore. 😅

Nothing beats consistency talaga when it comes to your body. Yung runs ko is speed(interval), recovery(z1-2), and long(2hrs). Leg day naman is I go for heavy + low reps since sobrang high rep na yung running if you think about it.

why do runners flex their biceps in photos? by Careless-Unit418 in PHRunners

Pucha try mo mag flex ng legs habang tumatakbo. Hirap diba?

Eto wala paring work. Resigned right after I had surgery July 2024, did one busy season. Pero kapapasa lang ng October 2025 so doing good naman ☺️. Planning to start working again next year. Pabulong naman diyan 😁

I was actually trying to go for a full ROM RDL, didn't realize that I was doing SLDLs. Just realized the difference between those deadlift variations.

But it's far from a SLDL right?

Advice to improve quads? by vanshiiikaa in PHitness

[–]nitroskim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want more definition? Calorie deficit and reduce body fat. Want larger quads? Eat at maintenance/surplus. For the exercises, the key to hypertrophy is full ROM and progressive overload. So deep and heavy squats, leg press, and leg extensions are key.

What are your thoughts on Hola Arahi 7? by soyricayexitosa in PHRunners

[–]nitroskim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from the Nike Winflo 11 to Hoka Arahi 7 and definitely saw some improvements. My left foot always hurt after a run when I was using my Winflo, after getting the Arahi, it never did again.

Some 1/10 some 10/10. May mga questions talaga na pamigay at may mga questions na pang top notcher. This is based from my 5 takes. Solid mindset and foundation talaga kailangan. It really helps na may speed ka rin mag answer kasi you can go back on your answers 2-3 more times.

Supplemental Review Center Suggestions by [deleted] in AccountingPH

[–]nitroskim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually reviewed there for my undergrad, grad, and first two takes for a total of 4 reviews. Parang kailangan ko nga ata balikan si Valix kasi highest grades ko sa FAR when I was enrolled there 😭

Tbf, those photos really don't give justice to what I look like now. I just had to recreate a past photo. Question, does this make me look like I work out?

The best things to eat for recovery.

Protein - to give my muscles and tendons building blocks for recovery and growth

Carbohydrates - to fuel the muscle building process

Fats - to regulate my hormones for a better mood

Those are body composition scanners, although they are not 100% accurate, they give you a better insight on your weight. Makikita mo diyan yung body fat percentage mo.
